Freelance WordPress Developer

With the number of projects piling up, it’s just too hard to keep up. I’m looking for an experienced WordPress developer who enjoys building a variety of different websites. Projects include working with WPML, WooCommerce, Genesis Child Themes, Custom Theme Development (we’d be using Underscores for this).

Things I’m looking for:

• Lives in Canada (just makes things easier for billing and communication)
• Ability to manage time well
• Works well independently or as part of a team (we may collaborate on projects)
• Open to learning new things
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
• Good Communication Skills

Technical Know-how:

• Local setup – VVV, MAMP, whatever works for you
• Underscores theme
• WooCommerce
• Object Oriented PHP with cleanly written code
• Javascript/jQuery – Other JS Libraries is a plus!
• SASS/Gulp
• Familiar with Git (command line or GUI is fine, we’ll be using Github for all projects)
• Basic command line familiarity

The rate of pay will depend on experience (you’ll usually be paid by the project) but will range from $30/hr to $50/hr CAD.
