Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a contract-to-hire full-time PHP/MySQL Programmer. In this new role, you’ll become a member of the Web Team and will be involved with customizing and supporting our company’s current e-commerce and CMS systems; assisting with future Web projects; and maintaining our managed hosting environments, domain registrations, and SSL certificate installations. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some telecommuting may be possible, but candidates must be able to work in our Waunakee office. No long-distance telecommuting, freelancers, or agencies.
What Your Resume Says
College degree in programming, software development, or other relevant field preferred, but not required
Three years’ demonstrated experience designing, developing, and modifying MySQL- and PHP-based Web sites and applications, along with MySQL database administration
Broad experience developing dynamic e-commerce and CMS Web sites using tools such as Drupal, Joomla, Magento, and WordPress; experience with ClickCartPro a plus
Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, and JSON
Familiar with basic business software, such as Microsoft Office
Personable, positive, and fun to be around; you have a sense of humor Ability to generate new ideas, and suggest new technologies and approaches Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere Ability to thrive in an environment that’s less structured than larger companies
