As a Senior PHP / Full Stack Developer, you will work with a small cross-functional team including other developers, product manager and creative designers to ensure that we deliver innovative outcomes on every project.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years Full Stack Experience with PHP and SQL
- Minimum 5 years of design and/or web design experience
- Agile development; iterating quickly, deploying regularly, working in sprints and tracking issues in JIRA
- PHP and object-oriented programming
- Relational databases, particularly MySQL
- JavaScript and frameworks like jQuery
- Solid experience with REST web services Linux servers hosted by AWS, including EC2, RDS, Code Deploy, Auto Scaling, Lambda, S3, CDN, CloudFront, API Gateway, IAM
- Structure code for speed and scalability
- Write neat, maintainable code following coding conventions
- Version control tools like Git and branching workflows
- Code Deployment with Bamboo / Capistrano / Jenkins
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Deadline/outcomes driven – not afraid to work hard
DESIRABLE:
- Desirable exposure to .NET, as we operate a number of sites based on Kentico and also employ .NET developers
- Experience in supporting WordPress marketing sites
- Test driven development with tools such as PHPUnit, Codeception, Selenium
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End to end application development: requirements analysis, design and architecture, programming and testing, documentation, code and quality reviews
- Work with DevOps to configure and manage AWS instances
- Identify opportunities to innovate and provide suggestions for improvements on processes
- Version control, Code Deployment
- Good interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Package: $100,000 to $120,000 (plus super) depending on experience.
