Software Developer – WordPress/Javascript

Do you enjoy developing complex, high-profile WordPress-based websites? Are you a Javascript whiz? Are you interested in working with hybrid mobile technologies? Do you enjoy creating your own themes, plugins, widgets, integrating 3rd party services via JSON APIs? Then we may be a good fit for you.

Atlanta-based software development start-up is seeking an experienced PHP, WordPress and Javascript developer. Primary responsibilities will be to conduct and assist with various development tasks including custom PHP development, plugin updates, child theme development, WordPress admin area development, bug fixing, and client coordination.

This is a temp-to-perm contract 1099 position for an individual, not for an agency. You must be able to work remotely in the Atlanta area and be available for on-site meetings with coworkers and clients. You must be able to dedicate 40+ hours per week and conduct all work yourself. No subcontracting to other developers. You will work in close communication with other very experienced developers and will always have a very clear direction.

In addition to WordPress, we work with technologies like Google Firebase, Amazon AWS (Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, API Gateway and others), Ionic and Angular.
