Brainstorm Creative Resources (DC-based recruiter)

Washington DC, United Kingdom

  • Job #WPHIRE001458

Brainstorm Creative Resources is a recruiting and staffing firm that places creative and editorial professionals into freelance and full-time positions with employers in and around Washington, DC.

Please read the job description below and/or visit http://brainstormresources.com/ApplyOnline/ for additional information regarding our firm and currently open positions with our clients.

OVERVIEW:

Brainstorm Creative Resources is supporting a Washington, DC-based nonprofit trade association that works to advance the needs of the paint and coatings industry and the professionals who work in it. This organization represents paint and coatings manufacturers, raw materials suppliers, distributors, and technical professionals.

Our client has indicated they are seeking part-time help starting immediately (early March) and continuing for at least two to three months. They have asked us to identify an individual who can work approximately twenty hours each week, and they are ideally looking for someone who can be on-site roughly ten of those hours (so, roughly half of the time). They have not suggested  a set schedule; we believe they will be able to offer some flexibility. The bottom line is that they want the person in this role to be able to work in the office at times when being on-site will significantly improve the workflow, particularly as it pertains to problem-solving.

There is a possibility the working relationship could extend beyond the initial two to three month engagement. Our impression is that the nature of the relationship would change after the initial engagement, and that the client would likely require a less specific time commitment and require fewer hours of on-site work time.

DETAILS:

The client has made it clear that they are looking to engage someone who has significant experience building pages and forms within WordPress, and specifically, troubleshooting CSS issues. We expect all applicants to outline specific and highly applicable experience in their resumes and/or cover letters. Additionally, we expect all applicants to provide links to live WordPress sites on which they have worked or case studies that outline previously completed projects — which can be verified through follow-up conversations with stakeholders.

LOCATION / HOURS:

As indicated above: Our client has indicated they are seeking part-time help starting immediately (early March) and continuing for at least two to three months.

They have asked us to identify an individual who can work approximately twenty hours each week, and they are ideally looking for someone who can be on-site ten roughly those hours (so, half of the time). They have not suggested  a set schedule; we believe they will be able to offer flexibility. They want the person in this role to be able to work in the office at times when being on-site will significantly improve the workflow, particularly as it pertains to problem-solving.

RATE:

With input from the client, Brainstorm Creative Resources has determined a pay rate range of $50/hr to $80/hr. While we will strive to identify someone terrific within the stated rate range, we will also consider engaging someone above the stated rate range, if we cannot identify a less expensive resource.
The actual rate offered will be commensurate with experience and market norms, and will be based on our evaluation and our client’s evaluation of your experience and personal presentation during one or more in-person interviews.
