What You Get To Do

  • Your life’s work. Use your WordPress, HTML, CSS and jQuery skills to grow our audience and make a difference in the lives of thousands of people every day. You’ll do this by working with our marketing and growth team, copywriters and designers to develop web pages that people can’t resist.
  • You’ll get to develop variations of sales pages and new lead capture landing pages, develop responsive pages and update and maintain our website. You do this with the cleanest code, that’s cross-browser compatible and on brand.
  • Have balance in your life. You get to work from home. Without a commute, you get to dive right into your personal life. You get to spend more time with family and friends, doing the things you love to do.
  • Our Ideal Candidate

  • Is experienced. You’re a bright, talented front end dev and have a few years of experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS and jQuery. You know how to build for mobile devices versus just poorly adapt, and code and test responsive HTML emails. If there’s something you don’t know, you’re willing to learn.
  • Is thorough. You are careful, conscientious and incredibly meticulous; you have an extremely high attention to detail. Yet, you don’t let it hold you back by getting bogged down.
  • Is collaborative. You like being part of a team that is respectful of each other, even in the face of disagreement. In fact, we encourage disagreement – it almost always results in a better approach. You proactively share information that the marketing team and designers need to move their work forward and likewise, you ask for info when you need it. When you have an opinion, you share it – we may not always integrate it, but we do value every one’s input equally.
  • Doesn’t mind repetition. You know the importance of our site performing well across browsers, browser versions and mobile devices and you don’t mind testing them all out to be sure everyone can access our content.
  • Owns the clock. You’re highly organized, know how to prioritize, adapt quickly when the scope changes, because it often will, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Is flexible. You aren’t married to your ideas and you can shift gears easily when things change. You don’t sweat the small stuff and are focused on the bigger picture.
  • Welcomes feedback. You consider feedback a useful tool that gives you opportunity to learn, grow and benefit the project. You don’t view it as an attack.
  • Works hard to make a difference. This isn’t just another website. You get to work on interesting projects and solve complex problems that transform people’s lives. You’re proud of the work you do and you’re willing to do whatever it takes to get it done.
  • Likes to help out. It’s not all about you. Whenever a team member needs a hand, you make time for them, and they do the same for you.
  • Is self-motivated and can work independently. Once you are confident in what you need to do, you can run with it and don’t need a lot of direction. You are a self-starter and prefer mentorship over management. You have a thirst for learning and applying the latest and greatest so that you can continually hone your craft.
  • Has worked remotely. You are highly organized, have strong self-structure and discipline and have worked remotely either currently or in the past so you know the benefits and the challenges.
  • Knows that we really mean what we say. Being part of our team is a privilege. Yep, that’s a bold statement. Not only do you have to have the skills, you need to be a great fit for the team and care about what we do. So, if it feels like we’re putting you through the wringer during the hiring process, it’s because we want to find the right person who gets it and really wants to be here.
