Were looking for an experienced WordPress developer to work within our product development team. This is a key role in a fast-paced environment, providing a challenging and diverse experience. You will be responsible for delivering quality software to production. The successful candidate will need to meet the following requirements:
Primary Responsibilities:
WordPress installation, configuration, administration, security, and optimization
Custom Plugin Development and WordPress Theme Customization
Conversion of PSD / HTML / jQuery elements to dynamic manageable WordPress sections
Follow the Code development standards and ensure to write bug free code to meet industry standards
Writing efficient and readable code.
Excellent command over PHP and MySQL Database.
Good object oriented and database programming skills
Work with other developers to design integrations between systems.
Participate in the complete agile software delivery cycle, including testing, troubleshooting etc.
Qualifications:
Should have 2-5 yrs of WordPress experience
BE/BTech/MCA/MSc degree preferred
Experience in PHP, MySQL, JQuery, Javascript, HTML, CSS preferred
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Knowledge of JIRA nice to have
Experience in Agile/scrum methodology
Good communication in written and spoken English
Experience working with US/UK product teams preferred
