Responsibilities

• Develop WordPress plugins and/or themes primarily using PHP
• Use the various WordPress APIs to improve and extend our products
• Solve complex problems in simple ways

REQUIREMENTS :

• Expertise in PHP development: we don’t need rockstars or ninjas or pirates. But you should know your craft
• Experience with Git version control system
• JavaScript experience. Knowledge of other programming languages would be a plus
• Your code is not only reliable but can be read, maintained and understood easily
• You are also able to speak and write in terms that non-technical people understand. Clear communication is super important in our environment
• You’re able to solve problems using accepted best practices and principles like SOLID and design patterns
• You care about code quality
• You enjoy technical challenges and you’re eager to explore new technologies
• Passion!

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PHPUnit and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of ES6 and the latest JavaScript trends
• Contribution to the WordPress open source project
• Knowledge of Vagrant and shell scripting
