BOLD Worldwide, one of NYC’s fastest growing, fully-integrated media and marketing companies is seeking a full-service web developer to design and develop website projects.
This person must be a strong, stand alone front-end designer and developer who is an expert with WordPress, Shopify and other platforms that are relevant for websites, microsites and landing pages.
BOLD is looking for a hungry, innovative human with attention to design aesthetics to join our team Full Time in NYC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Web fundamentals on both front and back-end: PHP, HTML, Javascript, and CSS
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress and Shopify, as well as major frameworks and plugin
- CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
- UI/UX Graphic and responsive design skills
- Be device agnostic in your approach to the front end, and be able to do your own production design and themin
- Know your way around MySQL databases
- Javascript and JS-based build tools (Grunt, etc)
- API integrations, including commerce and marketing tools, as needed
- A commitment to understanding web best practices holistically, and an unrelenting need to learn new standards, practices, and technologies
