PHP/WordPress Web Developer at Canva (Sydney, Australia)

We are looking for a PHP and WordPress Web Developer to join our growing Canva team in Sydney. You will be working closely with the Digital Design team, who is in charge of all the public facing sites at Canva (blogs, marketing, careers page, technical support, landing pages, everything that faces the public outside of the core design platform.  What’s missing is a web developer with experience building, maintaining, and optimizing high volume web portals with a customer-facing angle – with a focus on stability and resiliency. This role sees the successful individual working in a small team, but with reach across the entire business at Canva.

• You will work closely with the digital design team to build new features on WordPress
• Help grow the platform internationally by working on multilingual sites
• Optimizing performance on existing sites (cashing, mobile)
• Find opportunities for improvement in existing functionalities
