We’re looking for someone who loves WordPress, digital media and online marketing and is excited about working for a small entrepreneurial team where there is considerable opportunity to contribute to the direction and growth of the business.

The main aspect of the role will be to manage WordPress web design and development projects, liaise with other team members to identify the best solutions for clients and to consult client on their requirements. Occasionally you’ll be requested to respond to new enquiries.  You’ll need to be pro-active, confident and friendly with clients, have a solid understanding of the market and solutions we provide, and have excellent attention to detail.

The role is a semi-remote position in which you will split your time between working from home, our office near Piccadilly in London and meeting clients at their offices in and around London.

During a typical project you will have to:

  • Communicate with the client to gather requirements & source material
  • Organise and facilitate discovery workshops with clients
  • Advise the client on the best solution for their needs
  • Build and manage effective project teams
  • Manage designers and developers to ensure client objectives are being met or exceeded
  • Refine processes that exist and develop new processes for the team and monitor the implementation
  • Creatively solve problems
  • Advise on design direction
  • Provide regular status updates to the client
  • Conduct quality control on the projects that you manage
  • Manage project timelines and budgets

Desired Experience:

  • 3+ years in the web design sector
  • 3+ years managing web design and development projects end to end, including management of people, time and budgets
  • Broad experience of web marketing (e.g. SEO, conversion optimisation, analytics tools, social media, PPC etc)
  • Experience using the WordPress CMS (including multi-site, multi-language and WooCommerce)
  • Experience working in a team and managing different personality types
  • Experience of working remotely
  • Experience talking to clients in meetings, on the phone and by email
  • Experience giving presentations
  • Experience working with large clients
